Color Your Community Green

Healthy Yards Monroe County originated with Color Pittsford Green and Color Penfield Green but has grown as additional Color Your Community Green (CYCG) teams joined the collaboration. All CYCG groups are under the umbrella of the Climate Solutions Accelerator of the Genesee-Finger Lakes Region, but each develops actions and campaigns tailored to their own village or town.

Color Brighton Green’s  mission  is to educate and engage individuals and organizations in actions that protect and improve our environment. Our vision is a community where everyone has the capacity and commitment to reverse climate change.

Color Fairport Green is a grassroots network of local volunteer environmental activists working toward a sustainable future in the Village of Fairport, the Town of Perinton, and the surrounding community.

Color Henrietta Green is a network of Henrietta residents, businesses, and government, Color Henrietta Green will highlight best practices in community sustainability and engage in green initiative projects.

Color Irondequoit Green (CIG) is one team belonging to a coalition of others throughout Monroe County (and beyond) organized under the umbrella of Color Your Community Green, (CYCG) an initiative of the Climate Solutions Accelerator program. We  share and work together to have the best possible impact for a sustainable future.

Color Penfield Green is an organization of residents of the Town of Penfield, NY who are concerned about the environment. Our goals are to inform, educate, organize, and support fellow residents around all the incredible ways that our community is “Going Green” with a focus on climate.

Color Pittsford Green is a network of residents working to inform, organize, and empower individual efforts towards systems-level solutions that promote a clean, healthy, and sustainable future in the Town and Village of Pittsford.

Healthy Yards North Winton Village Healthy Yards North Winton Village is a neighborhood group under Healthy Yards Monroe County. Our goal is to educate and encourage residents in our area to adopt practices in their yards that support biodiversity and help to create pollinator habitats that are restorative and sustainable.
